Our chicken shasliks are marinated chicken threaded onto skewers, a kebab made for the grill or barbecue. They're easy to cook and easy to share, so they suit casual dinners and weekend barbecues. The marinade is gluten-free, like everything made at The Butcher Shoppe, Queensland's first Coeliac Australia accredited butcher.
Cook shasliks on a hot grill or barbecue, turning as they colour. Slicing the chicken off the skewer for a stir-fry? Use a screaming hot wok or skillet with a high smoke-point oil and cook in small batches, 2 to 3 minutes each, so the chicken sears rather than stews. No resting needed.
