Chirstmas Hams at The Butcher Shoppe Cannon Hill

Every Christmas ham we sell is gluten free. We're Queensland's first Coeliac Australia accredited butcher, so the coeliac at your table eats the same ham as everyone else.

Bone in hams

The double smoked free range full leg ham feeds 20 to 25. For a smaller table, take a half leg, either ours, double smoked for a strong smoke, or the Zammit. The bone in legs come naturally smoked or ready to glaze.

Boneless hams

Our boneless double smoked leg and the Pastoral are sold by size, so you buy only what you need, and there's no bone to carve around.

Is Christmas ham gluten free?

Not always. Ham is a processed meat, and processed meats can contain gluten unless they're labelled gluten free. Every ham we sell is gluten free, and so are our house-made glazes.

Finish it with Orange and Gin, Rum and Molasses or Tropical Sticky Mango, and add a Christmas turkey to the order.

How do I keep my meat fresh until Christmas Day?

We recommend storing your order in the coldest part of your fridge. For larger orders, an esky with plenty of ice packs works well. Our team can provide specific storage and reheating tips when you collect your order. Remember to get one of our ham bags at checkout.

What happens if I need to change or cancel my order?

Please contact us as soon as possible. Changes can usually be made up to one week before your scheduled pick-up or delivery. After that, preparation may have already begun.

Can I order for a specific weight or portion size?

Absolutely. Our butchers can portion, tie, or season your meats to suit your gathering. Simply note your preferences when ordering online or speak with our team in-store.

Do you offer glazed hams?

Yes. Our hams are available prepped and ready to glaze or supplied fully glazed. We also stock our house made glazes, together with Beerenberg glazes and condiments to finish your ham perfectly at home.

Are your Christmas meats gluten-free?

Yes, all our house-prepared Christmas meats are gluten-free. The Butcher Shoppe is Brisbane’s only Coeliac Australia-accredited butcher, and every product is handled with care to meet strict gluten-free standards.

Can I choose a specific delivery time?

While we can’t guarantee exact delivery times, our drivers follow set routes each day. If you have special access instructions for gates or lifts, please include them in your order notes so we can deliver smoothly.

Do you deliver Christmas orders?

Yes, we deliver chilled orders across Brisbane and the Gold Coast as normal, from 14 December to 24 December we will be running deliveries Monday to Sunday everyday. Delivery slots are limited and finish by lunchtime on Christmas Eve. You can select your preferred delivery date at checkout. We get very busy and slots fill up so get in quick.

When can I pick up my Christmas order?

Pick-up is available from our Cannon Hill butcher shop in the lead-up to Christmas. We offer extended trading hours from mid-December, with the final collection window available on Christmas Eve before lunchtime.

When should I place my Christmas order?

We recommend placing your order as early as possible. Orders open in Monday 26th October 2026, and popular items like hams and turkeys often sell out before Mid December. Early ordering also helps secure your preferred pick-up or delivery day.
