Beerenberg Australian Tomato Sauce 300ml

Beerenberg Australian Tomato Sauce is made on the Beerenberg farm in the Adelaide Hills, with 100% Australian tomatoes making up 53% of the bottle. Onion, apple and a hint of spice round out a recipe that's been passed down for generations. It's gluten free and vegan too, and the nutrition panel shows no gluten detected.

It's made for the barbecue. Get a cast iron plate or grill smoking hot. Cook sausages and burgers 3 to 4 minutes per side, until the centre reads 65°C for medium or 71°C for well done. Don't press the patty down, or you'll squeeze out the savoury juices. Rest it 1 to 2 minutes on a toasted bun, then add the sauce. It also suits our wagyu pies. Refrigerate after opening.
