Gold Gourmet Sticky Rib Sauce 500ml

Gold Gourmet sticky rib sauce is a thick, sweet 500ml sauce from Golds Gourmet Foods on the Gold Coast, and it clings to ribs instead of running off. The maker labels it gluten free and vegan, and it suits baking, grilling or slow cooking.

Give the ribs their time first. Use a smoker, covered low oven or slow cooker at 110°C to 125°C, allowing roughly 1.5 to 2 hours per 500g. They're ready when a probe slides in like warm butter at 93°C to 96°C. Brush the sauce on late so it'll set into a glaze without catching. Rest wrapped in butcher paper for an hour.
