Gourmet Granny's red wine and garlic jus is a rich, savoury sauce built on red wine, beef stock, tomato paste and balsamic vinegar. The maker states it's 100% gluten-free, with no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives, and the 200g pouch is ready in minutes.
Microwave on high for 90 seconds (1100W), or simmer gently on the stove top. It suits steak, roasted veggies and sausages and mash. For the sausages, use a flat plate or skillet on gentle medium heat for 10 to 12 minutes, turning regularly to 71°C. Never prick the skins. Rest 2 minutes. It also works with Tasmanian lamb loin chops. Prefer creamy? Try the Diane Gravy.
