Gourmet Granny's roast chicken gravy is a ready made pouch for the Sunday roast when there's no time to make it from scratch. It starts with water and chicken stock, has no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives, and the maker states it's 100% gluten free. It does contain milk solids.

Heat it in the microwave on high for 60 seconds, or simmer it in a saucepan, then pour it over a roast with baked vegetables. Our free range chicken is a good match: roast it at 180°C until the thickest part reaches 74°C, then rest it for 5 minutes before carving. The 200g pouch covers four serves of 50g.
