The King Island Grass Fed Rump from The Butcher Shoppe in Cannon Hill has officially become our family favourite. My mum, who has enjoyed countless steaks over the years, declared this the best she has had in a long time, and I couldn't agree more.
The quality of the grass-fed beef is exceptional. The rump cut was tender, deeply flavourful, and cooked to perfection with a beautiful crust and a juicy, pink centre. It lacked any of the toughness sometimes associated with rump steaks, proving the superior aging and butchery skills at play here. The rich, natural taste of King Island beef truly shines through in every bite.
