Our house made pickles with garlic are The Butcher Shoppe's own brand, jarred in Cannon Hill, Brisbane. They're sharp, garlicky and gluten free, like everything we make. As Queensland's first Coeliac Australia accredited butcher, we make sure coeliac families can buy with confidence. It's the pickles butcher's jar for the fridge door.
Pile them next to anything off the barbecue. Cook our sausages on a flat plate or skillet over gentle medium heat for 10 to 12 minutes, turning regularly, until they reach 71°C in the centre. Don't prick the natural casings, so the juices stay in. Rest 2 minutes, then add the pickles. They also suit a burger on gluten free burger buns with our house sauce.
