The Butcher Shoppe is a gluten free butcher in Cannon Hill, and Queensland's first Coeliac Australia accredited butcher. It's our premium gluten free range, so coeliac families can shop without checking every label.

Crumbed, smoked and ready to carve

You'll find crumbed chicken kievs, King Island steak and lamb cutlets, homemade family pies, porchetta and King Island rib fillet roast. Our Bees Knees Rub and Afterburner Sauce sit alongside them.

For the Christmas table

Our Christmas hams, Christmas turkey and Christmas roasts are gluten free too. Brisbane orders placed by midnight arrive the next day, Tuesday to Friday.

All of our products are gluten free unless otherwise stated. Everything we make is gluten free, and so is everything sold at the butcher counter and served in The Kitchen. The few grocery lines from other makers that contain gluten say so on their page.

Is The Butcher Shoppe Coeliac Australia accredited?

Yes. The Butcher Shoppe is Queensland's first Coeliac Australia accredited butcher. The accreditation covers the butcher counter and The Kitchen.

Are your prepared meals gluten free?

Yes. Every prepared meal we make is gluten free, from the pies to the pasta bake.

Is The Kitchen gluten free?

Yes. The Kitchen is Coeliac Australia accredited, so we keep it gluten free with no traces of gluten. Breakfast and lunch run every day, with dinner on Thursdays.

Is The Coffee Shoppe accredited too?

No. The Coffee Shoppe serves gluten free items, but it isn't Coeliac Australia accredited. Ask at the counter about a particular item.

Why buy meat from a gluten free butcher?

Coeliac Australia counts only raw, unprocessed meat as naturally gluten free. Sausages, crumbed cuts, marinades and smallgoods can contain gluten unless they're labelled gluten free. Everything we make, sausages and crumbed lines included, is gluten free.
